The Amazon Delivery Org is thrilled to share an exciting entrepreneurship opportunity for eligible U.S.-based Amazon employees: the New Business Grant (NBG) program that provides financial support for Amazonians who are interested in becoming Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs).
New Business Grant terms
- Eligible employees will receive a one-time grant of $30,000.
- The NBG is designed to support qualified Amazonians who decide to transition from their role at Amazon to become entrepreneurs in our delivery network. This grant helps offset start-up costs and provides financial support during the initial months of operating as a DSP.
- DSPs may only receive grant funds once their employment with Amazon is terminated and they have completed DSP onboarding.
- The grant will be paid out during onboarding to the program.
To qualify, an Amazon employee must meet all non-negotiable eligibility requirements and terms detailed below. The NBG will be applied to employees residing in the United States that meet all requirements and terms:
- Individual must be an active blue badge Amazon employee with a minimum of six months tenure.
- Individual must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future need for sponsorship.
- Individual must terminate their employment with Amazon upon offer acceptance to the DSP program and no later than one week before DSP onboarding begins.
- Individual may be required to reimburse Amazon any non-salary payments connected to their Amazon employment agreement (e.g., Relocation Incentive, Signing Bonus).
